Psychiatric Evaluation & Medication Management

At Hope Health & Healing Center, we provide professional psychiatric medication management to support individuals experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and other mental health concerns.

Our psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) works closely with our therapy team to provide integrated care that addresses both the biological and emotional aspects of mental health.

For many individuals, the combination of therapy and medication can significantly improve treatment outcomes, stability, and overall quality of life.

Who May Benefit from Medication Management

Medication management may be helpful for individuals experiencing:

  • Persistent depression
  • Anxiety or panic attacks
  • ADHD symptoms
  • Mood instability
  • Sleep difficulties
  • Ongoing symptoms that have not improved with therapy alone

Our provider carefully evaluates symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals to determine whether medication may be beneficial as part of your care plan.

Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

Your first appointment is typically a 60‑minute psychiatric evaluation.

During this appointment the provider will:

  • Review mental health history
  • Discuss symptoms and concerns
  • Evaluate previous treatments or medications
  • Provide a diagnosis when appropriate
  • Develop a personalized treatment plan

Initial evaluations are typically conducted in person, though virtual evaluations may be available in certain circumstances.

Medication Follow‑Up Appointments

Medication follow‑up appointments are typically 30 minutes and focus on:

  • Monitoring medication effectiveness
  • Adjusting dosage if necessary
  • Managing side effects
  • Supporting overall treatment progress

Follow‑up appointments may be conducted in person or through telehealth depending on the client’s needs.

Medication Policy

At this time, Hope Health & Healing Center does not prescribe controlled substances, including stimulant medications, benzodiazepines, or other medications classified as controlled substances.

Our medication management services focus on the safe and appropriate use of non-controlled medications to support mental health treatment.

If a client’s treatment needs require medications outside of this scope, our provider will assist with appropriate referrals when possible.

Integrated Care: Therapy and Medication in One Place

Hope Health & Healing Center offers integrated mental health care, allowing clients to receive both therapy and medication management within the same practice.

Our therapists and psychiatric nurse practitioner collaborate to ensure care is coordinated and supportive.

Benefits of integrated care include:

  • Improved treatment outcomes
  • Better symptom management
  • Consistent and coordinated support
  • Simplified care within one trusted practice

Appointment Availability

Psychiatric medication management appointments are currently available on Fridays and select Saturdays.

Initial psychiatric evaluations are typically conducted in person, while follow-up visits may be completed in person or via telehealth, depending on clinical needs.

Limited Appointment Availability

Due to high demand, medication management appointments may fill quickly. Individuals interested in medication support are encouraged to schedule a consultation early to secure an available appointment.

Many individuals seek medication management as part of a broader mental health treatment plan, and our provider works collaboratively with clients to determine whether medication may be helpful in supporting their overall wellness.
